The course is well cared for, and the greens roll true. The course is Challenging yet forgiving, but wind and water play a factor on every hole. It's best to play this course two days in a row, so you can capitalize on some hidden opportunities and avoid some hidden perils.

This was my second time to play this course and I will say it's most likely one of the nicest courses in the greater Houston area. I took my two girls to ride in the cart (called the day before to make sure it was ok, and it was approved), we drove the cart around to get some ice, and... More

Fairways and greens are in great condition. Greens were slow though, and oddly painted green. Played earlier in season and it was a bit patchy, but it has greatly improved. Pace of play was great also. Only negative, there is no shade on course. None. So play early, or you will wilt. Water comes into play on most holes- ask... More

Nice course. Lots of water hazards so bring some extra balls. Very economical fees. Staff seemed exhausted... computer system has some serious issues with reservations and checking in.

We had never been here before so we didn't really know what to expect. We walked in and there were three people at the checkout counter who ignored us. They were counting register cash and talking among themselves about the computer. It took a few minutes after we said hi and they said they would be right with us. Finally... More

The condition of this golf course is easily one of the best I've seen. My expectations weren't very high but that was my mistake. Price was really good, and will make it a point to go back.

We drove 1,200 miles to play golf at Moody Gardens Golf. We were 2 groups going off at 3:20 & 3:30 p.m. We are a college golf team so we are not slow. We made the turn, and could NOT get anything to eat or drink because on a Friday night the restaurant was closed? The rude woman asked us... More

Fairways not in the greatest of shape, but the greens were decent. Winds around inlets, so there is a lot of water to deal with, especially on the back 9. Lots of great bird sightings, including several spoonbills, snowy egrets, blue herons, and coots. Unless you are a very straight shooter, you'll probably end up loosing at least a few... More

I visited with some family tonight and we were sent to park on the Schlitterbahn side and had to walk all the way to the visitor center just to purchase tickets for ice land. Now that wasn't a problem until we walked through the main lot to get there and saw at least a dozen parking spots open. Seems ridiculous... More
