This tour was a highlight of our trip. The home is bigger and more beautiful than any photo can capture, although I took tons of pictures trying, they've become the wallpaper on every device I own! Their gift shop is huge and very well curated, begin your souvenir shopping here, not the junk stores! The staff was amazingly warm, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to be there. Even if you can't see every mansion in the city, I recommend placing this at the top of your list!

Absolutely stunning Victorian home. Beautiful architecture and craftmanship was on display throughout the home. We did the self guided tour, which was available during the week. The hand out gave a short description of each room. We toured the property during the Christmas season, so the rooms were decorated with Christmas trees.

I came on a weekday and took a self-guided tour. Group guided tours were only available on the weekend. My tour only allowed me access to the first and second floors, and the gift shop. Guided tours get to see the third floor and the attic. Nonetheless, I saw plenty. A staff member later told me that I had seen just about everything of this Victorian architecture structure. Interesting and edifying. Well worth the $14 adult admission fee I paid.

From every angle, Bishop's Palace is beyond grand. It is incredible to imagine such architecture and skill brought this building to life. Definitely a must-see, even if only from the sidewalk.

Excellent tour of the basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor and the attic. Great description of the eleven chimneys, exterior masonry of limestone, granite and sandstone. Marvelous pine, oak, and mahogany woodwork on each floor to view along with the beautiful stained glass windows! Not alot of furniture, clothing, or nick-nacks.
