We had a great time with the sea turtles today. I was impressed with how patient our tour guides were with all of the children. The wait list is very long so you have to schedule months in advance. It was well worth the wait....More

So honored to meet in the ballroom of historic Fort Crockett. It was a pleasure to get away from Houston and enjoy the sea wall and the beach.

Grew up in Galveston but this was first time I visited since they put in sea turtle hatchery, not exactly a hatchery but more on line with fishery, at least the production area on the seawall. They also have a nice museum while waiting for...More

This is a very educational place to visit. They are doing research on saving sea turtles. The facility is secured- you can't just walk in. I suggest you call for a tour. Fascinating what goes on there.

We tried to see the rescue turtles. We asked a gentleman about a tour and he said you need to have reservations, probably 3-4 months in advance. Maybe next time.

This is a free attraction. I believe tours are only done on Thursdays. They recommend you book months in advance. We've been to Galveston twice and have yet to secure a visit. You need to call for reservations.
