So I'm spoiled, right? "spoiled..." in that we usually stay on the West End. But Y'know, the 'wall is awesome. Kind of crazy, beautiful, friendly... What more could you ask for? Come visit!

Was able to watch 1st Mardi Gras Parade from the Seawall at 25th Street. Was also nice to have a safe place to exercise and walk a distance on the Seawall and watch people!

See the movie of the 1900 Huricane downtown, then walk the Seawall. It will mean so much more to you than hotels, restaurants and novelty shops although there is plently of that. This is more than a beach.

Lots to do on the seawall...biking, running, surfing you name it. Many restaurants, shops and bars. The only thing bad is that its the Gulf of Mexico so the water is not blue...

This is a great beach for walking and finding shells. It is clean. Lots of parking - though you must pay for it. Convenient to restaurants.

Yes it is a good beach for families. With a very gradual decline, most of the time the water is shallow a good distance from the beach. Yes you can bring your own umbrellas and chairs.
