The Hotel - we purchased 1 night stay with a family package that included all the attractions for $365 (includes room, free s'mores on the terrace, Iceland, paddle boat, Festival of Lights, parking, pyramid attractions, and ice skating with a 2-day pass. Overall, this was a great deal for a family of four. Liked - Hotel room was clean and... More

Attended this event during the week and had an excellent time. The crowds were light and lines went quickly. They have a train that takes you through some of the lights but too quickly to fully enjoy them. Plan on about 30-45 minutes to really take it (FOL) all in. There's a s'mores station a few minutes in, $6 for... More

We went the weekend before Thanksgiving and had the place nearly to ourselves... The aquarium was by far the best and the rain forest exhibit was good... all and all it was a nice afternoon given the off season price...

the Dino exhibition ( Nov 2016 ) is a rip off : a small room with a bunch of metal assembly , which DO NOT work! Our child was ver disappointed and so were w for $14 per parent and $10 per child .

The Ice Festival is amazing. I will see it again this year if I get a chance. There is no description that can do it justice. It is a work of art that I am so pleased Moody Gardens has made available to us. I paid $37 for adult tickets that include 1 attraction, Ice Festival, and lights. Tuesday is... More

When we visited Moody Gardens Ice Land, we were not sure what to expect. I had trouble finding information before arriving, but more troubling was the lack of information that the staff had once we there. When we bought the tickets for the attraction,we were told the Ice Bar Shivers and the slide were closed. When we presented our tickets... More

Enjoying a few days in Galveston & having a great time at Moody Gardens. They have several attractions like 4D movie of Ice Age & Aquarium. Although it is under contruction till 2017. I wouldn't advise going unless you have a season pass.

Highlights: Finding the place was very easy from the seawall and getting free parking was a plus. Once you ask the right questions about attractions, you can get a good deal for the day - we were going to stay from 11 a.m. to 2 p.pm. and coming back in the evening after 6 p.m. for the Festival of Lights.... We visited Moody Gardens for the 1st time today. It was nice that the parking was free. Went to 4D and 3D movie first, which I would recommend. The shows were short but entertaining. Next stop was Aquarium which we knew was shorter due to construction, watching the penguin's was my favorite. Then we went to the ice sculptures which... More
