The tour takes through the plant and introduces you to the process of getting bread to the shelves in the grocery stores. The smells of bread fill the plan and the fresh buttered bread at the end of the tour is heavenly. Get for kids.

They used do give little loaves of bread when you went through the plant. I don't think they do that anymore....however, it does SMELL SO GOOD in there. Actually, you can smell it from the I-35 Highway before you get there!!!

This is a Texas tradition and only Texans know about Mrs. Baird's Bakeries. I love it here...the way it smells and to see how my favorite powder donuts are made, as well as all the other bakery items that has made Mrs Baird's famous.

nothing better than driving past the bakery and smelling the fresh-baked bread. And kids can still come see Santa at the bakery during Christmas.
