I had never heard of the gardens in Ft Worth until my daughter in law mentioned them on a recent visit. We had a little extra time on a business trip last week and decided to check it out. This place is huge!!! We didn't have much time, so decided to go straight to the Japanese garden. Beautiful place and... More

There is no charge to enter or park. Spend an hour Walking the trails and looking at the plants. There is a grassy area so bring a blanket and enjoy the shade and the company of someone special.

Fort Worth Botanical Garden is really pretty. It's big and great to roam around with families. It's free with the exception of the Japanese Garden, which isn't really anything more special than the rest of it and can easily be skipped. Parking is also ample and free.

Stopped by on way from Austin to Dallas. So happy I did. Even in February it was beautiful and so nice to walk around. I can't imagine what it must look like in spring. Park in the main lot and walk around...many paths and nooks and crannies.

Absolutely beautiful. Free. Bring your chairs and a picnic lunch. The only cost is if you go to the Chinese garden. Very small cost and well worth it. Walk all the trails and take tons of pics. Great place to relax.

It's great place to visit with family, especially with kids. Free entrance, except for the Japanese garden, and free parking too. There are so many varieties of plants, all well-labeled. This could be a great learning experience for school kids.

This is definitely the spot to get outside for the day, walk around, bring your lunch and take in the beautiful surroundings. There is over 100 acres to walk and it's FREE to park and FREE admittance, restrooms in various locations. It wasn't quite the main blooming time for many plants, but there was color and flowers and the surroundings... More

the flowers are beginning to bloom. Walking through the garden is very relaxing and on a nice warm day you see many families picnicking on the grounds. They have remodeled and expanded some of the area and is a very nice place for any age.

What a cool feature they have there. After you stroll through the regular gardens, there is a walk through the tree tops that goes from one entrance of the Botanic Gardens to another entrance. The walk is on a fenced walkway that has benches and fun stuff for kids to do and learn. One of the first things is a... More

The garden is ongoing some much needed maintenance but still lovely for walking around. I really miss the rose garden and hope they replant soon.
