We were a week too late for the bluebonnets (our fault), but saw many other beautiful flowers along the trail, and even found a couple of great patches of bluebonnets. We are going back at the right time next year.

The average rating is simply due to the time of the month when we were able to go and the fact that this area of the state had an early Spring. We think the poor bluebonnet and paintbrush showing is simply due to an earlier...More

This was our first visit and did not know what to expect. We had such a good time and learned so much about the flowers, grasses and trees in this beautiful pasture.

This year, although a light viewing of bluebonnets, the trails were beautiful. We were a little late as the bluebonnets popped out early because of the heat. Beautiful trip throughout the year!

When driving the trail, be aware of others who randomly pull over to take a photo! Signal your intentions when you want to stop or drive slow. Save drivers makes the day more beautiful!

We were told that some areas bloom later than others, so it is best to go to the visitors center for daily updates.
