After reading up on their reviews, we ( a group of 8) decided to stop there on the way to Fredericksburg. Were we pleased. Everyone could not stop talking about this place. The metal works make you think just what they are and the wind art, if there is a breeze is beautiful.

We have bought a number of plants at the shop, but all the art pieces tend to be over priced and not different enough to merit the prices charged. The staff is reasonable friendly and helpful.

Large selection of hard to find native plants, very helpful staff, lots of handmade gifts and interesting metal lawn sculptures for sale. Nothing not to like.

Love to see the cool yard art, and have bought several items here. The owner is helpful and knowledgable. He has a great selection of Lyman Whitaker spinners!

More spirited than eclectic, more magical than funky . . . you can find the most imaginative garden ornaments and native or naturalized plants that thrive in this area. This is the best place to look for uncommon native specimens for your landscape. You can take a relaxing walk through the nursery on trails that meander under lovely old trees,... More

I enjoy browsing around Solstice immensely. The business sells both art and plants, and the garden around the house that holds the art is beautifully maintained and pleasant to meander through. The owner Chris is personable and knowledgeable.

The artwork, both inside and out is just marvelous. The plants are likewise unique. You can spend a couple of hours just looking at everything. This is my favorite place to buy art and unique gifts. My gardening friends come to visit us from Houston just to go here!
