Good location, clearly visible to anyone traveling on US 75. The reason I only gave it a 4-star rating is that it looks puny after seeing the statue monument of Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas on I-45 between Dallas and Houston. I just think that a much larger tribute could have been made to a man that did so much... More

Didn't know this was here, saw it because we noticed it on a trip. Having just finished listening to "Killing Patton", we did appreciate this tribute to not only Eisenhower, but to all of our veterans

Not many people know that Denison is the birth place of this great general and president. This monument memorializes all members of the armed forces and is a beautiful and reverent place.

I had this as one of my stops on a road trip from Plano to Hugo and was worried about how hard it would be to find. It was easy - right on the hwy! Neat to see, and a lot larger than I was expecting!

The big bust of Eisenhower on 75 was a surprise, but as my husband is a big military buff we had to stop... Glad we did... We spend the weekend in this area and went on the birthplace of Eisenhower..Great history!!

The statute of Eisenhower it's really detailed with him wearing his military suit. It is just a "bust" of the President but too me you see more. The setting is nice and it is right off the highway. You don't have to worry about getting lost, you exit and pull into the monument and then get right back on hwy.... More

Not sure why you would build a giant head on the side of the freeway but it's there so we had to see it. I'm not big on feelings so it's had to connect with stuff like this.

The history that this marker shows is awesome. They did a great job on the statue and the colors are perfect. The bricks with the military names on it is very special. They will not be forgotten.

This is a great memorial to stop and see. Don't miss the beautiful Loy Lake after you see the monument. A very nice little lake to drive around or you could bring your sack lunch to enjoy in this beautiful setting. Also, there's an extra treat in this stop. Frontier Village is open to the public. There are several restored... More
