Be sure to get here before the Portraits of Courage exhibit goes away, I would pay the same ticket price just to see that, So Powerful. The remainder of the library is great as well. There are tons of exhibits detailing all the major events of his presidency as well as a collection of gifts he received while in office.... More

Great place to go worth the price of admission. The paintings that President Bush has done of wounded warriors is worth seeing. The fun of sitting in the oval office behind the desk lets your imagination run wild.

The library is on the SMU campus.....easy to get to, right off of I-75 north of downtown Dallas in Highland Park suburb off of Mockingbird Lane. It is extremely impressive especially with the 911 girders.....there is a lot of hands on exhibits. When you're in Dallas stop in at the Library, it is well worth visiting.

Democrat or Republican, it does not matter. George H. Bush's presidential library near SMU is sophisticated, well done and very interesting. It is a large building with lots to see. The architecture feels straightforward and free of unnecessary embellishment. Lovely light in many rooms. Remember that Laura Bush was educated as a teacher, and she was very involved in planning... I have been to seven presidential libraries and the changing side exhibits makes this worth trip after trip. I have been the past two Christmases and the Christmas exhibit was great both times and the baseball exhibit was wonderful as well. Not as big as Reagan's but comparable to 41's down in College Station.

This is a very interesting museum: interactive enough and full of information on the political global situation you might have forgotten. Even if G.W.Bush was not my favourite, I think that this installation is very objective.

Loved it! The foyer has a panoramic screen around the ceiling with a small (non political) audio presentation. You will have to go through a metal detector and bag check, so be prepared. If you are a GWB can this is a must see. Even if you are not a GWB fan it is I interesting to see a presidential... More

Lovely tribute to George W. Bush. Confidential papers and photos illustrate the horror of 911-minute by minute. It's a mesmerizing series of artifacts. Many other lighter moments of his presidency are beautifully displayed and the replica of the Oval Office is worth the trip by itself. You can sit in the big seat behind the desk :)

This museum is quite interesting with many momentos and videos from George W. Bush's life and term as president. There is a full size replica of the oval office as it was when he was serving. I understand that it is the only one that you can walk in, sit at the desk or on the furniture and have your... More
