so Dallas got the great idea about a decade ago to create a park in the middle of downtown. They put a roof over a freeway that cut through the center and turned it into Klyde Warren park. It's not central park but its a great place to spend a few hours on a nice day even if it's only... More

Plenty of things for the kids to play on and in (water sprays from the ground). Enjoy a morning or afternoon there and then eat at one of the delicious food trucks that park only steps away.

I was surprised when I got here. I guess because of the high reviews I expected more. The park is super small. Yes the park itself and the restaurant is stunning, but not much to do when there is no music playing, other than just walk around which takes about 10 min.

After visiting the art museum, we visited the park since it was right across the street. There were several food trucks all serving different foods. It is an interesting area that was packed on a Sunday evening! There were many families and couples enjoying their time there. Sadly we were not able to go on the grass since it was... More

Awesome to lay on the lawn and enjoy beer and live music. Splash pad here is great! Munch on food from food trucks. Could spend the entire day here soaking up the sun with downtown high rises as the backdrop. We go to this park every time we visit Dallas. Walking distance to great shopping and bars/ restaurants. Something for... More

I thought the idea of a "city park" over a freeway was a stupid idea; Not surprisingly, it was. There are much nicer parks with much better amenities in Dallas. Food trucks have ridiculous lines, high prices and the quality is meh!

Just happened to be in the area, had heard about this amazing park and had to stop. You just can't believe you are above a busy freeway, in downtown Dallas! Almost surreal! Activities, water fountains, vendors. etc.... a most enchanting, relaxing afternoon for 'children of all ages.'!

Clean well kept little city park . Restrooms clean . Plenty of food choices along the food trucks which line one side of the park . We especially enjoyed the free games available and the kids were certainly enjoying the splash zone . The reading area could benefit from a few more magazines and newspapers.
