Adjacent to Pioneer Plaza and the Cattle Drive Sculpture a couple of blocks south of downtown Dallas, its worth a few minutes to visit to see the names, dates and pay respects to some of the pioneers who founded the area.

A great site for all ages! The park has a little waterfall, rocks to climb, room to walk and is a great photo spot.

We had to pass this daily while walking to the Kay Bailey center for WWE wrestlemania. To see the history and the dates on the stones was pretty breathtaking. There were several large monuments of the Confederate stuff as well. its a nice walk just be careful not to walk on or over the stones.

Many of Dallas' forefathers and mothers were laid to rest here between the Pioneer Plaza and Cattle Drive Park and the Dallas Confederate War Memorial and Convention Center. The view of the Dallas skyline to the north is spectacular with the architectural wonder of Dallas City Hall just blocks away to the east. A perfect place to stop and see... More

Interesting Walk back through the early settlers of Dallas along with a Confederate Monument. In the Spring and Fall this would be a nice walk. In the Summer, this was much too hot with little shade.

A cemetery this old and of historic significance should be better kept. Amazing stories from the pioneers illustrated here. Also, beware of fire ants.

The cemetery is adjacent to the Dallas Cattle Drive sculptures. The graves are from the 1800s and seem to be of the original Dallas settlers. The monument to Confederate veterans is here too. My favorite tombstone was one of an angel. It was quite beautiful with the trees in the background. The saddest site was the family that buried 10... More

This cemetery is located in downtown Dallas. It has a deep history connected to it. Many important people of the area are buried there. They also have a huge civil war monument there along with graves of some soldiers from that war. I found this cemetery in very good condition and an interesting place to visit and find local history.

The cemetery is quite interesting with several plaques sited on historically poignant graves. One thing that I did notice was that there seemed to be an awful lot of Freemasons buried here and some of the stone work is of a very good standard, nothing untoward just something I noticed. This also includes the Confederate War Memorial.
