The sculptures in Pioneer Plaza are impressive. I visited at 3 different times of day to get photos with the sun at different angles. There is a small parking lot for about 10 cars, but the turnover is fairly rapid.

Go see this if you happen to be in the area, but don't make a special trip to see it. We walked here as we waited for our time to come up for the Sixth Floor Museum. It is neat to see. There are clearly...More

Enjoyed walking around here. It was a beautiful night for a walk. Very close to the Omni, only a couple blocks away.

We had a few hours available before we had to be at the airport so my wife convinced me to visit Pioneer plaza. It is right downtown and has a big installation of bronze statues of cattle on a drive crossing a creek. The statues...More

An amazing display of a cattle drive within blocks of much of downtown Dallas. Each bronze reflects a unique character, as does the herder.

I loved this exhibit. To see life size long horn cattle sculpted as if they were on a cattle drive was very exciting. The cowboys overlooking the cattle look true to life. It's worth walking up to the top of the sculptures to see the...More

This is a nice park which holds the Cattle Stampede sculptures. I already reviewed the sculptures which are amazing. One note for the park though, is it holds an old cemetery. I met some people at my hotel who would not go walk around the...More

Larger than life bronze cowboys lead a cattle drive down a hill from the Convention Center to the flat land of Young Street. Everybody loves the detail of the individual longhorns, horses, and cowboys. It's a very Texan, and not a particularly Dallas, experience. That's...More

It is truly a larger than life experience. The sculptures are fantastic, only spoiled by the buildings that are visible around them.

Many people who have been in Dallas do not take the time to go to this area and enjoy the view. There are like 30 cow sculptures in this little park.

There's parking across the street (beside the Aloft). It is $12 per day.

I have been at night but it is not lighted as much and your photos won't come out properly. More appropriate during the day time.

Pioneer Plaza is in downtown Dallas. It's not a park as in green space. There are no restrooms or places to eat in Pioneer Plaza, but plenty of restaurants nearby. Not sure what you mean by cemetery - are you referring to... More
