Convention center was one of the better ones in the country. There was a large number of meeting spaces and the everything was clean.

This is a big convention center, downtown, with lots of hotels all around. It is big and can accommodate big meetings. No special design features.

Overall a good convention space with a good variety of room configurations. Convention center staff: the convention center maps and signage should be thrown out and completely redesigned.

My wife, daughter, two friends and I visited the Dallas Convention Center several times during our visit to Dallas in May 2022. Known as the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, the Convention Center is huge - maybe one of the largest in the USA as well as the world. We were there for the Global Robotics Competition. The Convention Center takes up several blocks and has several levels and sections. You can walk over a Sky Bridge from the Omni Hotel into the Convention Center. The Dallas Cattle Drive Sculptures and Pioneer Plaza are near the Convention Center. This is a worthwhile thing to see in Dallas especially if you are attending an event.

We went to check this place out, and not only was it huge, but a very cool place. I just wish we would have had more time to check it out more.

Conveniently located near downtown (maybe even considered downtown) the convention center was set up very nicely and easy to get around. And, although it is not necessarily related to the convention center itself, it is also amidst many nice and affordable restaurants and hotels.

Wonderful venue for our yearly convention. Lots of room, plenty of different sized rooms to meet the needs of all of our classes. The tech staff was extremely efficient. The fire Marshalls were there to assure no rooms were overcrowded. Lots of VERY CLEAN restrooms, wide halls so everyone could get where they needed. Lots of maps giving accurate info as to room locations. I was pleased with this venue!!

We come every year to the DSC Convention, which is very well run thanks to the volunteers. The convention center offers some pretty basic, mediocre food choices like lukewarm BBQue and boring, doughball Pizza, and this time I tried the Chick Filet Limited offerings...it was ok. The best recommendation I can make if you are attending a convention, is to go ahead and purchase the Mug at Pecos Pete’s lemonade stand for the outrageous price of $25- which allows unlimited refills of tea, lemonade, Huckleberry tea, root beer, etc - if you are spending a day at the convention center, this is the best item on offer and well worth it!

- It's located in an area that's easy for loading trucks and for people to access - there are multiple spaces so an event can take up the entire space or just part of it - parking and public transportation are in place - restaurants are located within a few feet of the center - an upscale hotel connected to the center- it is a clean and well-maintained space- the people who manage it are quite professional and easy to work with- there is outdoor space that can be incorporated into an event -security is no problem to arrange: the Dallas Police Department has horse-mounted, motorcycle, bike, & canine units - two airports in the DFW area -other hotels are nearby.
Carefully consider everything that's important to your event and what could go wrong. If you are involved in selecting a venue for a convention or large event I highly recommend that you look into the Dallas Convention Center before making your decision.

Hi
I am considering coming for Christmas.
I would be brining my mother who is in her early 70`s and my two daughters age 16 & 19.
I would like to know is the entertainment in the hotel for their age groups.
Also is there any shopping markets or centers, site seeing trips and town near by?
