This is a nice memorial and was very quiet when we went. The isn't much written about JFK at the memorial and it was a quick visit. It is appropriate for all ages.

This is just a short walk from the 6th floor museum. It's a huge outdoor sculpture. You can walk inside and around. It's extremely interesting to see and it's clear that JFK made a huge impact and people wish to honor him.

This is a very plain monument with a plaque in memory of JFK. It is ideal for a photo shoot & a good place to meet & study.

I came here just after sunrise and I had the whole place to myself. The memorial is very plain and very simple, but I experienced solemnness and tranquility despite the constant traffic on the surrounding streets.

A good spot to stop and pay tribute to a man who was on his planet for way too short of a time. A good photo op it is.

took the TRE rail from fort worth to dallas and walked to the plaza. Very interesting to visit as well as walking to where JFK was assassinated. Be careful of all those who try to tell you the story for some charge.

Read up the history on this landmark before wasting your time. It’s supposed to symbolize a open casket. The White House wanted it to be made of granite but the Texas governor at that time decided concrete would be just fine.

JFKI think was a great man who deserved a great monument to his life and death. The 6th floor museum is a better memorial. This place looks like the berlin wall and is very blahfor such a great President. Located a couple fo blocks from...More

I remember the night the newsflash cam on TV on Nov 22 1963 I was 8 years old and had never seen my mum and Grandmother cry...until then. This was a trip I have always wanted to make and loved it.

An amazingly subtle memorial to a tragic event. Great place to reflect on your political views and life in general.

Yep I went to the JFK Memorial Plaza while waiting for my tour bus to arrive. If you know the area so well then you know the tour company. To my family and myself the JFK Memorial seamed unfinished. And as you stated it is... More

I honestly don't know where the nearest one will be, but considering the size of this city, you'll be able to find one.
