The adventure at The Dallas World Aquarium begins at the top of the rainforest exhibit, where exotic birds, such as Cocks-of-the-rock and many species of toucans, can be seen. Lounging around are Two-toed and Three-toed sloths. Endangered animals, such as Orinoco crocodiles, Giant river otters, Antillean manatees and several species of monkeys are part of the many conservation projects. The aquarium portion displays interesting marine life, including Japanese crabs, jellyfish, Leafy, Weedy and Ribbon seadragons. Black-footed and Blue penguins can be seen swimming as guests enjoy the outdoor South Africa exhibit. Sharks, rays and sawfish are only a few of the fish living in the Mundo Maya cenote. Safe from Neotropical eagles, are euphonias, tanagers and hummingbirds. Reptiles and amphibians, both of significance to the Maya culture, can be seen throughout the exhibit.

My family has been to many aquariums and this one was very nice in comparison. We have never seen a manatee, so that was GREAT!! My personal favorite was the sloth....it was crawling on the tree out in the open, the staff member was feeding it, I could have watched it for hours!!! Super nice place and would highly recommend... Very cool place. A little expensive but worth it to go at least once. The first room is a rainforest. Penguin exhibit very cool. They had a sloth when we went.

Went here with my boyfriend during our travels in Dallas. We both enjoyed the aquarium and would recommend. It is a bit on the smaller side but still clean and enjoyable.

Aquarium is a nice day out for the kiddos or even just adults on a date. Tons of sea-life to see. Lots of walking.

My husband and I only lived in Dallas for 3 months. My husband saw this building off the freeway and wanted to check out this place. It blew our minds off! Seeing a manatee, jaguars, etc. We thought it would be a regular old aquarium place to see fishes. But it became more than what we expected

This was my first visit to an aquarium. It's a good place and you get to see a lot of aquatic life. The highlights would be the penguins, flaminogo's and the majestic black panther!

We have always talked about visiting here but never have until recently. Admission price is a bit much but it really is a neat place and the kids loved it. Instead of just strolling down hallways, the center is done up like you are outdoors in the wild so it adds a fun element. I would recommend going if you... More

I was initially disappointed with the cost but after my visit, it was worth that and more. It did not disappoint! You'll see the first exhibits even before you enter. This is more an indoor zoo than aquarium. I was spellbound by some exhibits. The layout is excellent and seems endless. The exhibits make you feel like you're a part... More

From the outside the Dallas World Aquarium doesn't look like much ..... but it's amazingly deceptive!!! The inner building loops around and daisy chains, and the natural flora and fauna adds a bit to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the extremely wide variety of species and we were pleasantly surprised!!!! Excellent aquarium and rivals if not better than any aquarium... More

I have lived in Dallas all my life but this is the first time to this Aquarium. It was a really nice place to go. Took the Dart Train to the West End and then walked about 4-5 minutes to the building. There is lots to see in the Aquarium, saw some beautiful fish , very LARGE Crocodiles, bats, owls,... More
