Suggested to us that we visit this area of old warehouses that had developed into an interesting area. That is true and each block appeared to have a different theme as did the pubs and establishments that were open. Enjoyed a beer in the Brain...More

We went for the art. I have wanted to go take it all in for a while and today my husband and I took the day off and went on an Urban Art tour of our own. So many beautiful and powerful things to see...More

This former cradle of the Blues is now a dynamic center of food and crafts. It's crowded on the weekends, so plan on waiting in lines and for service.

There are many places to eat and have a drink. There is also a bunch of cool things to see. It's a great place for young adults.

Really enjoyable hour or so spent walking along the streets of deep ellum! Beautiful murals painted onto the walls and free to do - I would recommend stopping by pecan lodge for brunch whilst in the neighbourhood :)

Great barber shops (High and Tight), outstanding pie shop (Emporium), classic Texas butcher shop (Rudolph's, one of the best in Big D), and lots of great bars, small cafes, and shops with interesting/unique offerings.

Many fun places in this part of town! Try to stop at as many as possible because they are all a little different. Crazy amount of traffic. Had to meet Uber a few blocks away because we would be stuck in traffic.

Like any big city today you must be aware of low traffic areas. Stay in the public places and if possible travel in a group. This section of Dallas is pretty safe. I've never felt uneasy in this vicinity. Falls is a friendly... More
