Tons of local bars and restaurants, awesome graffiti and paintings everywhere. Really cool sculptures on every corner. Cool area to visit!

Amazing fun! Everything you've heard is true...and better! Several great restaurants, some even featured on Food Network! Plenty of bars if you are a drinker. But fun regardless.

Deep Ellum has tried many times in the past to "catch on" but now it seems finally to have done it. Many cool new places to eat, drink and be merry. Multiple entertainment venues as well.

Lots of restaurants and tattoo parlors and bars. Great bakery too. It's a funky and cool area. Night scene.

This place used to be cool when I live in Dallas but now it seems pretty blah...it seems as though a bunch of wanna be hipsters have taken over and the unique place that once dominated this area have been replaced by chains.

This is a cute area, but the pictures make it seem like it's more than it is. Nice bars, and a small variety of shops. Many of the shop clerks were not very friendly. I probably would have looked longer or bought something if they weren't so unfriendly

My wife and I visited here for the first time in probably more than a decade. I was pleasantly surprised to see the same clubs that were there more than 20 years ago: Trees, The Curtain Club, and The Door. This place has clubs for EVERY type of music, and a great variety of food places open 24 hours. Be... More

We were visiting only for 3 days and not sure if we should check this area out - but glad we did! The number of restaurants and bars in the area is phenomenal. And so many are built into the existing old-building infrastructure, it makes it very interesting!! Also, when you hear the history of it, and how it's changed... More

Enjoyed this part of town and the many venues for music, food, and drinks. Landed at a place holding a charity event that had some awesome bands, great time !!
