Very interesting and informative

Who would have thought that dinosaurs walked around the Texas Hill Country. Well preserved tracks. Interesting.

Took my granddaughter here and we had fun, but it could be kept up a little better, it was hard walking around in some areas and other things you could just look at from a distance as there was not a walking path. Even walking up to the main office was difficult.

Very cool to check size of your foot with that of a dinosaurs. This location was once the beach area before shifting of earth. Finding new Dino tracks also in area will make this a even more cool place to spend a afternoon.

Get the kids out of the house this summer and investigate this really fun little place at Canyon Lake. You can see everything in 30-45 minutes and it's not "lame" like my pre-teens anticipated. If you live in San Antonio or the Hill Country you will see tracks and fossils, and hear explanations that will have you slowing down and... More

Just stopped by for the fun of it! My husband is a history fan and enjoyed it! A retired couple was our tour guides. It was exciting to see the Dino tracks, this would be a great place for kids who like dinosaurs to visit. Great price $4 for adult and $3 for kids free if under 5years old.

This was an extra stop along the way from the marina and spending time on the lake. It was interesting to see what uncovered the prints and the story behind it. We did not spend much time there but saw what we wanted to see and during the week it was not crowded at all.

Went when the kids and grandkids were here. Much info and history about the area and dam in the office. The grandkids like the dino tracks but the highlight was getting to dig in the sand pit and find hidden fossils.

This was a nice little museum, but only took about 30 minutes to see with a 6 year old. He enjoyed the dinosaur tracks and the "dig" set up that allowed him to find dinosaur "bones". It only cost $3 to get in, so I feel it was a nice diversion and kind of educational. Just don't plan on staying... More

Dinosaur tracks! It was a very reasonable entrance fee of $4 a person to see these great marks. The employee was very formative about the tracks and have a quick overview of the history, which was about 5 minutes and then we were on our own to explore the tracks by ourselves. We really enjoyed this place and suggest seeing... More

This was an interesting place and our grandkids (ages 9-12) were very interested in all the aspects of this small museum and the activities. There were a lot of "old timey" items that they learned the history of while there..
