We had the most beautiful day in November to ride. Just our group of 5 plus 2 others. Jesse and his wife and both other workers were so great at giving information about their history with the canyon and fun personal stories. It was so fun to hear stories about each individual horse and how they got their names. Our... More

My husband and I visited the Texas Panhandle the last week of October 2016. We were in the area sightseeing after reading "Empire of the Summer Moon" by SC Gwynne, which is about the Comanche Indians and in particular, Quanah Parker. We were interested in seeing the geologic formations (Llano Estacado) including Palo Duro Canyon. Wow. What a way to... More

Awesome experience today with Palo Duro Riding Stables. This is a family owned business and it shows with the enthusiasm, experience and care Jesse uses to make sure everyone has a good time. The horses were wonderful, the trail interesting and beautiful and getting all the family history of the land made it a personal experience. We will definitely do... More

From the moment you meet Jesse and Kristin you are part of the family ranch. I would give them seven stars the experience is so much fun. Texas all the way from the long horn sheep to the rocky canyon. Great horses!!! I was not an experience rider and my husband was and they matched us with perfect horses. Can't... More

I went here with my folks today, just because I needed to get out of my house and see some life. We got to Palo Duro and explored the park a bit, as we were early for our riding appointment. Anyway, we got back to the stables for the appointment and were immediately met with friendly faces. Horses were already... More

We had a good time at the Palo Duro Canyon stables. The horses were very calm & easy to ride. The trail ride is single file line & not difficult terrain. They horses did not deviate from their path. The guides are not very interactive during the ride; however there really isn't an opportunity to ask questions due to the... More

We passed by on motorcycle and got a place for horseriding down to the canyon. It was an excellent experience on horsbackriding. Kind an friendly people guided us down to the canyon's ground on the back of very friendly horses. The horse are in a very, very good condition and you can get on, also without beeing a horse -...
