My wife and I are Texas Wine lovers, and we take 2-3 day trips to visit wineries 6 times a year. This is one of our favorite wineries. Their wines are consistently good, a nice place to spend the day with your spouse/partner/friend. The winery is family friendly, but I prefer not to take children to a wine tasting. We... More

We were celebrating a birthday and stopped here (our first visit). It's easy to find. The setting is beautiful.......a big stone building. You sit outside on the lovely veranda, and the guy brings you the wine samples to your table. The veranda overlooks the vineyards. I felt like I was in Sonoma. We had several favorites and ended up buying... More

Nice trees to shade the outside tables with the vineyards within in few feet. There was also live guitar music (not too loud, just easy listening). There are also tables inside with a very with a very nice atmosphere. We tasted 3 reds and 3 whites for $10. Typically, I do not care for white wine, but one of theirs... More

The setting is very pretty. There was live guitar music when we were there which was very nice. The building itself is very nice and the tasting room is pretty. But the wines are really not very good. We did the tasting which included three whites and three reds. The reds were terrible. Just tasted like single note fruit juice.... More

We visited with friends on October 23. The winery is beautiful with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Their vineyard is probably the largest in the Hill Country. We enjoyed both their red and white wines. We sat outside in the warm weather and had a very enjoyable afternoon. Service was excellent. Prices are a little higher than most... More

We certainly enjoyed our tasting and the wine was very good. At $45 a bottle we felt it was a little overpriced. The tasting is just $10. The tasting room is beautiful.

We had been to Longhorn Caverns and decided to try a wine tasting at Perissos. We used TA recommendations and it did not disappoint! The building is beautiful and we liked the long tables to allow you to sit in the comfort of the A/C and enjoy either a tasting, a glass or a bottle. There is outdoor seating, but... More

Perissos is always doing something new! They are again adding onto their production facility and expanding which is FANTASTIC for the Texas wine industry and those of us Texans who love their wine! Once you try their wine, you will always find your way back up Park Road 4! The wines are always changing but Seth offers Estate Grown Tempanillo,... More

Perissos is about 1.5 hours outside of Austin, Texas. My sister and I have been trying out all the wineries that are easy day trips from Austin. Perissos is absolutely the best, all around, that we have found. The drive by Lake Buchanan and Inks Lake is lovely. We went in July on a Saturday. Live music, knowledgeable staff, (thank... More
