This is our second trip on the cruise. It is breathtakingly beautiful, but we have yet to see an Eagle. We ordered the box lunch on board and it was just fine but if you had time to get lunch at a deli in Marble Falls it would be much better.

We did the extended eagle sighting tour on Christmas Eve, and really had a great cruise. The crew was nice and helpful, the box lunch was good, and the scenery was fantastic. We saw several eagles, and several other types of birds and 4-legged animals. We hope to return one day!

We did the 2 HR COLORADO RIVER SCENIC WILDERNESS on a Wed. Cruise (4/5) - beautiful scenery - we saw a few eagles, an osprey, other birds and a cow! The guide talked all the way out, without a break - really informative, however, I missed a lot. There was no commentary on the way back (unless they were specifically... More

If you a looking for a fancy boat with whistles and bells, this is "NOT" that boat. It is comfortable has an enclosed area with windows all around ac and clean restrooms, also has a top deck with cover but not inclosed. We took our 90 yr old parents and did have some challenges getting them to the boat via... More

Weren't sure what to expect but this was a GREAT experience. We went on a Wednesday and we bought the available box lunch, but if I did this again, I would bring my own lunch and beverages. You can bring an ice chest...we brought a couple of cold beers but I saw others with wine, bloody marys, etc. The boat/ship... More

The Vanishing Texas River Cruise on Lake Buchanan in Burnet, Texas is very interesting, informative and enjoyable. The scenery is beautiful on this Texas Highland Lake formed from the Colorado River, including the waterfalls. The tour guide was very friendly and gave a lot of detailed background information about the lake, including its history, and the surrounding area. She also... More

My husband, sister-in-law and I decided to go on the Sunset Dinner Cruise on a Saturday evening. Because of dietary restrictions, we chose not to have the meal and just enjoy the cruise. I liked that there is an indoor air-conditioned deck and an outdoor deck. Wanting to enjoy the fresh air we decided to go to the upper deck.There... More

We did the Wednesday morning tour. The river/lake is up (nearly full) so other than the captain navigating around some trees, the trip is uneventful. There is commentary on the way up river and quiet on the way back. The air conditioned lower deck keeps you cool enough on hot Texas summer days. The upper deck is well covered so... More

We went on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise once before when the water was down, but this time the water was up and the water fall was beautiful! Candy has so much information to share with you about the history of the town, I am not sure how she keeps all that information in her head, it is a great... More
