So much to do!
Sep 2021 • Friends
So much do to! We have two younger boys, age 5 and 8. They loved jumping from the cliff and Devil’s Waterhole (their fav activity!) and also renting peddle boats and boating around the lake. We are already looking to go back to again!

Nice State Park
Jun 2021
A beautiful scenic state park and very popular destination so it is difficult to obtain day passes and reservations on a "spur of the moment" Go State Park.
Our stay was situated in an RV site near Devils Waterhole. I would have preferred to lodge in another RV site in the park..... but none available. Overall ..... a fabulous state park.

Activity For The Entire Family
May 2021
We spent the weekend at Inks Lake SP to spend time with family. The park was alive with hikers, bikers, swimmers, fishing, campers, paddle boaters kayakers, and most important chillaxers. The hiking trails offer a variety of challenges. The staffers and rangers were super helpful and we avoided the bad weather predictions. No wonder this is a favorite destination.

Nice trails, but poorly marked.
Apr 2021
The hiking trails were nice, but poorly marked. The park needs a lot more trail signs. The trail map was pretty much useless. The lake is pretty.

Hiking
Apr 2021
Visited while in Marble Falls on vacation. I recommend booking day passes ahead of time. We would of been turned away if we hadn't. We did not enjoy the water due to the toxic algae in the water. We were traveling with our dog and the algae levels were too high at this time. There were several people enjoying the water, kayaking, paddle boarding, and jumping from the rocks at devil's waterhole. We did hike to the overlook and really enjoyed our time in the park.

Great state park and well taken care of
Mar 2021 • Couples
We loved this park. Stayed in the cabins and they were super clean and lovely waterfront. State park police were well presented and kept order in park on a very busy weekend. Boat ramps were in amazing condition. The only downfall is that the rentals of canoes and kayaks were closed due to Covid. Personal opinion is that they should open it up and if the park visitors sign releases, then let them rent the stuff. If no one rents (which I doubt) then the American people decide if a business is open or not. I would have rented a kayak for a whole day and used my own life jacket. State park could start making some money back from being shut down for much of 2020. Please open it back up.

Nice Trails
Mar 2021
We had a good time walking the Devil's Waterhole and Devil's Backbone trails. We weren't able to do the whole of the latter: our disabled adult daughter was worn out and found the trail too difficult. Otherwise, the trails were not difficult and we enjoyed out time in nature.

Impressive state park!
Feb 2021 • Solo
I'm camped along the lake near the Devil's Wateringhole trailhead. So quiet and peaceful. Love sitting outside along the water's edge reading and watching the waterfowl. Great sunsets, too. Nearby campers are friendly and considerate.

The campground is peaceful and relaxing. The trails are outstanding and not what I expected for a state park. The rock formations along Devil's Wateringhole, Spring Valley loop, and Devil's Backbone are outstanding.... Not to be missed!

I also hiked Lake, Woodland, Connecting, and a portion of Pecan Flats trails. Very well marked, not heavily traveled. Very peaceful.
