Great place to stop for ice cream. Factory tours aren't currently taking place but the country store and visitors center is still available to visit.

Great stop for a hot Texas day! Didn't have a tour, but fun looking around. Love the ice cream parlor and my favorite ice cream...vanilla! I especially love their quote: "We eat all we can, and we sell the rest!"

Great place to spend an hour or so...Very friendly staff. The tour ends with your favorite flavor of ice cream...for a small fee.

Although they are not doing tours, it is worth a stop in Brenham for a scoop of Blue Bell Ice Cream. The ice cream is inexpensive and yummy. There is also a cute store with lots of fun Blue Bell items and t-shirts.

We truly enjoyed our stop at the creamery. Lots of great things in the shop and make sure you stop just to enjoy the ice cream! Nothing like the ice cream straight from the maker.

Hopefully they will start offering tours again. The visitor's center gives a tour through pictures on the process of making ice cream and distribution. The ice cream parlor was only had about 20 people there at 4:15. We enjoyed two different kinds of ice cream-...More

If you are passing thru Brenham and need an ice cream fix....THIS IS IT! All for one dollar per scoop! They give wonderful tours that are quite educational and it includes free ice cream at the end. Heck of a deal!

The best way to find out is to ask Blue Bell.
Have they started the tours again? It still says no tours on their website. Wondering if it is worth the stop without a tour.

Why does the ice cream turn to a slimmy yuk after you open the container? This never happened before ! It's like the really cheap ice cream !! Why !!

This has never happened to me so I am not sure. Bluebell is the best ice cream I have ever had....especially their homemade vanilla. The opposite of cheap flavored ice cream. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
