Enjoyable time

Had a nice evening here at the Real Ale Brewery. Very laid back, family atmosphere. Always interesting beers on tap and a relaxing atmosphere.

I love Real Ale for their consistently excellent brews and innovative brewing. Real Ale is one of the largest craft brewers in Texas and is located in the hill country, a great place to tour. They've added an upstairs tasting room that is contemporary and has a fantastic view of the bottling operation. The Real Ale folks are genuinely fantastic... More

Driving home from the river, we were hot and thirsty and saw the sign so in we went. We missed the free tour and the place was quite busy. One of the bartenders was less than friendly upon our arrival there, like we were annoying her. Despite her not being very helpful, we ordered a couple pints that were quite... More

The facility is nice. It is on the 2nd floor but they do have a somewhat-hard-to-find-from-the-outside elevator so you don't have to take the stairs if you are unable to make it up them. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had 3 beer flights for a group of 7--a total of 12 beers--so that we could try... More

My wife's company had a private function at Real Ale where we had the Taproom to ourselves for 2 hours. The place is fun to visit and the beers are great. They also provided us a quick tour which was really nice since they were actually in the middle of production and canning. The area around Real Ale is also... More

We visited real ale on a winery and brewery tour group. It was our last stop and it was great! We all enjoyed a 4 piece tasting and then got to choose a pint! By far my favorite was the gose! So lemony and crisp and refreshing! I could drink that all day! We also got to take home a... More

We went to Real Ale Brewing with some friends and had an amazing time! Two tours a day, free, pretty exciting for the beer enthusiast. They have a new tap room upstairs, which they didn't have 2 years ago when we first went, and a pretty big outdoor space for seating and games! Def worth the drive!

We went for a Sunday afternoon beer flight. The tap room has plenty of seating, nice selection of gifts. There were several arcades, games, free for all. Beer flight was excellent value. Accept all credit cards

Of the 6 breweries we have toured in the hill country area this week, this was by far the best Tasting room area (clean, restrooms, gift shop, place to sit down, elevator/handicap accessible, very cool ac) and most knowledgeable, easy going tour provided by the cellarmaster, Jake. Love the atmosphere of this brewery and very excited to see they will... More

I've always wanted to visit this brewery and I finally had the opportunity last weekend. You can find it off of 281 in Blanco, TX. When you get there, you go down so gravel roads and you'll quickly find the building but there is a real lack of signage on where to find the tasting room. Once you find it... More
