This is an absolutely beautiful river. The drought has left it a little low right now, but a little rain will revive it to one of the most beautiful rivers in Texas

Rented some tubes from the Medina River Company and they drove us by bus up the river a couple kilometers. We spent the afternoon relaxing in the slow moving Medina and cooling down from the hot Texas sun.

The river was low and slow but we were the only ones on the river. It was so peaceful and beautiful.

Medina has many beautiful rivers. We found a great swimming hole that was deep and crystal clear. Peaceful and plenty of wildlife around.

The river was great, even though it was a little low...We had 5 kids from 7 to 17, and all had a great time!

You can float but the river is very slow as there is a dam at the end and people usually don't go up the river far enough to float. its a great place to go swimming and bbq.
