This is a trail with a gradual incline in a deeply forested area. There's nothing wrong with the trail, it's well marked and well cared for, but it's so heavily forested I missed having wide open vistas to view. I guess I should have stuck...More

Very nice trail run. Usually not many people on the trail. People know to get over if they hear a runner or bicycle. Some parts are really narrow but that's the fun of it. The top is awesome. What a view of all the mountains...More

This hike is very popular with hikers, runners and bikers. It's a nice soft path with wild life (birds, chipmunks, snakes, deer and seldom a bear) and beautiful plants (love eating the blackberries along the way). At the top you can climb the tower and...More

A moderate hike with a fantastic view from the mid-way point on the pinnacle. No terribly steep switchbacks, just low and steady. A bathroom at the beginning and about 2/3 of the way as well.

This trail starts very close to the interstate, but you quickly leave the hustle and bustle behind and head into a very scenic area. The trail is long (4.5 miles) and a tough climb, but the views at the top are breathtaking! This trail is...More

We walk this trail several times a year. It is always well maintained and kept clean. Trees and big limbs are constantly falling across the the trail but are quickly taken care of. The trail winds back and forth up the mountain and you're almost...More

I've hiked this trail twice. It's 4.8 miles to the summit and the fire tower. It took me about two and a half hours to go up, less than two hours to get back. About a 6% grade, not bad, winds around the mountain. You...More
