Excellent tour around the caverns. Our tour guide was informative and kept it interesting the whole way through, and also made everyone feel at ease going at their own speed, especially on the stairs/steeper sections. The tour is about a mile of walking but everyone...More

This place exceeded my expectations. We got there about 10:30am. They wait until there is enough for a full group it seems. It is done casually and there is no stress. We had a relatively new guide who I think was named Sarah. She was...More

This is 5th time we have visited and we always have a great time. The staff is knowledgeable and everyone is very nice. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place on the quiet side of the Smokies!

We stopped here while on vacation. This place is amazing. To just think that this place is where it is. You go in and it opens up to gigantic rooms in the mountains. It also has a under ground creek that formed this place. It...More

This cave tour was a pleasant surprise especially for a privately owned cave. No cheesy tacky displays. Great variety of cave features. I would recommend for anyone traveling in the area. Be aware that there are stairs and a couple of areas with low ceilings....More

Frankly, I wasn't expecting much from the Caverns, but was pleasantly surprised by the various formations, Caverns and stream within. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. There are a lot of steps so I wouldn't recommend this attraction to anyone who has trouble walking. Conveniently...More

This cavern is spectacular. They have maintained its natural beauty without glitzy, manufactured settings. No colorful light shows to detract from the stunning natural splendor of mother earth.

Would you recommend Tuckaleechee Caverns or the Forbidden caverns? (for those who have been to both) Trying to decide which to go to. TIA!

I haven't been to both but I can say Tuckaleechee Caverns was beautiful, interesting and historical. Very nice people there who give the tour as well.
