I am an experienced rider & have been to numerous stables in the Gatlinburg area however my sister had never sat on a horse once in her life until the day we rode at CCRS & for my mom it had been a number of years so she was a bit nervous. Upon arrival we used the large, clean restroom... More

My husband, myself and another couple really enjoyed the trail ride with Briar! Briar was informative, light hearty and funny. He told us about the park, wild life and pointed out deer and bear markings. The horses were gentle and fun to ride. This was my husbands second ride and he loved it. We will definitely be back next time... More

We waited about an hour, which wasn't bad considering it was peak autumn. The ride was about an hour. We had 9 in our group and our guide was Briar, who was wonderful! He did a great job matching horses with riders according to their experience. We had one who had never been on a horse before and he kept... More

My friend and I went for a morning horseback ride in the woods with these guys, and it was a wonderful way to cap off our visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. It isn't possible to take the horses on the actual Cades Cove Loop road itself (although they do offer a hayride that goes through the loop road!), but... More

The people in the office were the rudest people I have ever dealt with. They had no customer service experience and were very ugly towards my family, especially the bigger older lady. The older lady was just awful. We had to wait for 2 hours and the guys in the barn was just standing there while we were waiting, with... More

We spent a beautiful morning riding through the Smokey Mountains. The area was so pretty and peaceful. We rode horses on a guided ride for about an hour through the woods. The horses were gentle and well trained for the ride. Helmets are available at no extra charge and the guides and staff were knowledgeable and fun! There were also... More

At first the staff said it will be a one and a half hour wait and that we should return within an hour. When we returned they said it will be another hour. Eventually three hours passed before we got on the horses. The guide was nice and friendly but that could not compensate for the long wait and waste... More

We went through Cades Cove and saw some of the history of the area, loved it. We then took an hour horseback ride, got away from the loop road and got some feeling of how it must have been when the settlers arrived. Guide was fantastic, joked just enough and seemed genuinely enthused about what he was doing. Horses are... More

We drove down from pigeon forge to do the hayride. Saw a bear right out back of buildings, staff got excited b/c it was collared (Aggressive)bear. Hayride is on back of pickup pulling long flatbed trailer. You just sit in the floor, they rake loose straw along each side. We wished they would have bales instead. The weather was perfect,...
