We were impressed with the number of waterfalls on this hike, each one better than the next! The water was high, muddy, and absolutely roaring when we were there. The sheer power of the water was amazing. Parts of the area were closed due to damage, so we were not able to walk down to the base of the falls... More

We enjoyed the ~2 mile hike to the falls where you can see the water "jump" into the lower tier. It is a beautiful gorge where you see water at work. Great place to hike.

this is a beautiful peaceful spot. the one trail is harder to walk than the other. you can go to the base of the falls if your healthy... we did not go down but from above it looked like little ants around bushes , which were actually people around full grown trees.

In need of some repairs, but it is a rather easy and short hike and there are great photo opportunites. Short drive off of I-40 and not crowded. Once you reach the top lookout( that has a chain blocking the actual lookout due to erosion) snap some pics to the right of the blocked off section. You will see fencing... More

Went June 2015 and had a great time hiking with 5 friends. The waterfall is worth the drive and hike to get to.

The most waterfalls for the shortest distance to walk. Beautiful!!! You can hike the main trail or walk the old road (easier walking).

I grew up and currently have a farm close to Burgess Falls. The Park has 2 Falls, one is the smaller middle falls and the 2nd is the large falls that you see pictured. There's also a lot of history associated with the Falls, from the Revolutionary War to the current day. Currently, parts of the trail is closed off... More

According to the trail info the trail is moderate to difficult, but we didn't find it to be too bad. There were 12 of us ranging from 1 (she was carried) to mid 40's. We walked the trail to the biggest falls, this trail is 3/4 mile long and consists of seeing 4 falls total, each better than the last.... More
