From our fresh cut orchard, we produce apple-based wine blended with other fruits, including grapes. Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art.

Buck & Lisa helped us pick out the perfect wine for my wife & I. Will definitely be coming back on next trip to the mountains.

As you drive in you see all the apple trees. The winery had free wine tasting (6 different wines). Very friendly.

I have been to this winery several time prior to this trip and was always treated well and enjoyed my visit. However, on this trip, the server was rude, the taste samples were barely enough to even taste. We decided we would NEVER return to this location or recommend it to anyone!

This was a beautiful winery! The scenery around was gorgeous. We enjoyed the 6 free taste tests and thoroughly enjoyed the server, Debbie. Even at the end of her shift where she has undoubtedly served hundreds of people, she was still laughing and joking with us and was very knowledgable about the wines and the winery. I highly recommend this... More

If you like sweet or fruit wines this might be alright. Their dry whites and reds though were quite bad.

The winery is just one of the numerous things to do at Apple Barn. I bought some Muscadine wine and it was good. Very good gift shop with lots of wine gifts.

Not much to say here except this is a wine built on apples. The service was fine. The wine was good. Nothing was really exceptional. But it's definitely worth trying.
