Come Ride the Hill and Feel the Thrill! The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is the longest downhill ride in the United States, with over 1 mile of track. So if you are looking for an unforgettable experience on your vacation here in the Great Smoky Mountains, this is a must do! The vehicles are designed to carry two visitors in comfort but can be handled easily by one alone. The riders are in control of the velocity (up to 27 mph) and this gives them a unique hands-on experience! Rain, snow or sunshine, no problem - the excellent braking effect is unchanged so you can ride year-round! Tickets and packages are now available, age restrictions may apply, parents may need to ride with small children. Our track has thousands of colored LED lights so you can experience our awesome Night Rides! The great "Über Ride" is HERE!

A lot of fun! Kids loved the ride, and coupons made it incredibly affordable family fun. We've gone many times.

The day we went it was frigid cold outside and the kiddos said the cold air on their faces was more than they could handle, but they would do it again in a heartbeat. It was exhilarating and the price was fair and reasonable!

Though it was a little cold still so much fun. My kids loved it and wanted to go again. Recommended.

This ride was fast enough for the temps that day (about 20° F), but on a warmer day, may have been somewhat disappointing. We plan to return in fall, when the foliage is turning, because the views from this coaster would be amazing!

This was such a great family fun ride! We went right when the sun was going down. It was cold, but so cool with all the lights on as you zoom down the mountain. We have already planned on making this a stop every time...More
