I booked this part of the Country Music Hall of Fame experience because I thought it would be more interesting than RCA Studio. I was correct in that the posters were amazing. Our tour started with our guide taking us into a small room off the gift shop covered floor to ceiling in posters. She then explained the history of the shop and how new posters are created. She also pointed out how they reuse certain portions of some prints when dates of events change. After about 20 minutes or so we "made" our own 8x10 poster. I say made because the pattern was already chosen for us. We really didn't get to work with ink either. The guide simply inserted a pre-printed poster into a press and we brought the arm down to simulate it actually printing. Next we went outside into the hallway area to view the actual print room through glass. More stories about the print room then over to the gallery to see the really huge posters. The staff were super friendly and the tour itself was very educational. I would definitely recommend it to friends. Just don't expect to actually come away with a real poster. That was a bit disappointing.

I’ve been to N’ville several times but this was my first visit to Hatch Show Print. You must visit this gem. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can spend a lot of time here just looking at poster after poster of your favorite county music hall of famers

Opened in 1879 and is famous for printing posters. A couple years ago when we came, it was open and we were able to actually do a tour which was so fascinating. Gift shop is open but the print shop was closed because of C-19. I WOULD RECOMMEND!

If your into printing, graphics, music history or art, then I highly recommend the tour. It was a surprise for my boyfriend, and he loved it! His favorite part was getting to do a print during the tour. The information was interesting and our tour guides kept our attention with cool facts.

Tour was okay, not what I was expecting. Probably most likely due to Covid precautions. The part that was really disappointing was the souvenir poster. I understand it’s not really feasible to let us make own own custom poster based on what the process requires and the time frame allotted in the tour, but I would have rather been able to pick one of the many posters on the wall as my souvenir. I was going with the expectation of leaving with some sort of band or show poster, and even the gift shop options were quite limited.
