The tour is free and you will be amazed. The grounds are beautifully manicured and decorated for your arrival to the Governor's Mansion. The guided tour will leave you with a plethora of knowledge about the history of the governor's mansion and Nashville in general. Each room has a themed Christmas tree and the decorations are spectacular. The underground Conference... More

The staff and the First Lady were very welcoming, kind, and accommodating to my school group of 27. We had an amazing experience and plan to return next year!

The home has a simple elegance from a bygone era of mornings in the drawing room and afternoon tea in the sun room. It was a spark of imagination for the Conservation Hall to be located in the proximity to the house and not dominate the rolling landscape. Enjoy photos of former Govenors entertaining dignitaries and hand crafted furniture. Make... More

The last governor built a multi-million dollare hole in the front yard and buried a shelter and entertainment facility. Sort of like the jet airplane that one governor swore he would sell when he took office and then didn't . . . skip this and go looking for the guitar shaped swimming pool in the same neighborhood. This is George... More

The tour of the Governor's residence and Conservation Hall is very interesting. The house is beautiful in design and rich in history. I loved seeing the China on display form several former first ladies of TN. The Conservation Hall in also beautiful and contains art from artist across Tennessee and floors made from trees that were brought up from the... More

I attended a fundraiser. Beautiful Residence for the Governor and his family. The Georgian-style mansion is elegantly decorated and a MUST see:)
