It is a remarkable building with a vast interior. Besides being a public library, it hosts displays of Nashville history and currently an exhibition of photos of famous private estates and houses. You should not miss it when visiting Nashville.

Best parking downtown day or night. short walk to Ryman and Broadway. Safe to walk around. Sorry, did not visit the actual library. :)

Make sure to visit the children's section - well worth seeing. The other sections were nice but the children's area was awesome. Suggestion: Visit the St. Louis Library downtown for an AMAZING library.

Great library, parking in garage with access behind the library. Great selection of books and other media. Pretty to look at and has rooms you can rent for meetings.
