Came here after a show. It was busy, but we could find a seat. Great atmosphere & felt like a local hangout, not touristy.

Saw this place in a travel guide and it was near our hotel in The Gulch, so we decided to check it out. What a treat! Saw Grammy Award winning mandolin player Roland White and "friends" which consisted of a revolving group of older and...More

Super barebones , old school picnic tables and kitchen chairs. Place was packed to the rafters. Excellent bluegrass jam band playing, minimal electrical equipment and they sounded fantastic. Drinks in plastic cups, super cheap. Walls full of old memorabilia. A classic must see stop in...More

Music was fantastic, and that's why you go. But go in knowing what you're getting into. Get there early (before the doors open). Think about food options before going - their menu is limited, and well, not great. But you're not there for the food....More

Fun way to end a short visit to Nashville: go listen to blue grass music. Check the schedule but these local guys are talented and fun to watch, interactive and creative. A must see in Nashville, in the Gulch area.

I was doubtful we would be able to hear the famous Sunday night jam session because other reviewers described crowds and lines. But we arrived later on a Sunday evening, around 9:00 or 9:30, and got a seat up front right by the musicians! An...More
