Looks like a new replica is being built. Just wanted to note it here since TripAdvisor shows its hours as open. There aren't any signs saying when it might open.

Right now is not the time to go to see Fort Nashborough. It is a construction zone and only the workers with hard hats are allowed in the area.

We had some time to kill in between meetings in Franklin, just south of Nashville. We decided to wander down along the river. It's a fun place to wander through when you've got nothing to pressing on the go, but I wouldn't make a point...More

We walked along the river but it seems Everything was under construction. We thought there would be at least one building but didn't see anything that looked like a former fort. I guess they are re-building everything. So yes, a bit disappointed. Quite a nice...More

The area is full of homeless people. The buildings are in need of repair. Neat place just be careful.

Interesting historical place. i was a little surprised at how small it was, having grown up amid "John Wayne" westerns where the forts were huge. So glad they preserved it.

There's not a big area here that calls out "Fort!" to everyone walking by. It is a little encampment kept in period condition and historically valuable. Good tour, good stories. Worth seeing!
