Downtown was busy with lots of people. You can hear music at every corner and find lots of restaurants, including rooftops. Be prepared to spend for parking. We chose to take Uber since that was less expensive.

The place is hopping, and the alcohol is flowing. The honky-tonks would be better if the crowds were smaller. Public intoxication is rampant. I saw two different people faceplant while crossing the street in five days. Not the place for children and teens. And so...More

Since the debut of the TV series "Nashville", the City of Nashville, especially lower Broadway, has become the bachelorette capital of the world. No matter the time of day, it's hard to avoid coming in contact with either a Pedal Tavern or flat bed trailer,...More

We strolled through this during the day and also at night but this place is always rocking with plenty of music to hear and plenty of places to catch a bite to eat. This is a nice venue to offer everyone something to enjoy. So...More

Most downtown areas can be somewhat dangerous (muggers, drug dealers, etc)... but downtown Nashville seems much safer. Tons of venues offering live music, all within walking distance on Broadway. Very crowded, but easy to navigate, and lots of cabs and Uber drivers to get you...More

We really enjoyed the downtown area. Walking up and down Broadway we felt perfectly safe which is a lot more than I can say for Beale Street in Memphis. Sad really. The sights and sounds were great the people friendly. My wife needed to use...More

New Orleans is great tourist fun. Go over to Mississippi, stop in Biloxi at the Lighthouse. Go to Wentzell's in Mobile, Al for Oysters (Bienville and Grilled or a Seafood Omelete). Make the drive from Mobile to Nashville... More

Going to Nashville for a few days in May. What are the best hotels close to what they call "NashVegas" and is that downtown? Where is the best "have to visit" restaurants and bars. Any other "must sees?" Is it better to Uber and walk around the streets. I see some saying parking is $30

I was just in Nashville last week. We stayed at the Clarion Hotel which is just over the bridge from downtown. It was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and I felt safe there. The Clarion runs a shuttle to downtown every... More

I have already seen that most of the bars don't let anyone in after 6PM that is under 21 ( we will have 19 year old will be with us). Did you go downtown at night and if so can you be outside and listen or are there other things open to do? I do know that Wild Horse allows under 21.

I think most places that serve food and many do, let people in under 21 after 6 pm. We went to ACME seed and feed and Margaritaville and they both had live music and pp under 21.
