I was in Nashville for the first time and went into Robert's since they had great reviews on TA. The place is everything I was hoping a local "Honky-Tonk" would be. The music was great, the is a stage right when you walk in. If you look on the walls there are old photos of all the people who have... More

We popped in during the day and caught a set. The honky tonk variety of music sounds much better live than recorded. I'm not a fan of this type of music, but found it enjoyable just the same. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Having been to 20 or something bars during our trip to Nashville, Roberts stood out as some of the best country music around. Good drinks at good prices. make sure to tip the band....they earn it. This place can get packed, but theres a reason why. Its really good.

We went there a couple of times and both times we had a great time. Both bands were on point! Traditional country music as it finest. We both had the fried bologna sandwich and sweet potato fries! Defiantly our favorite spot now when we go back! The bartenders were all very nice and funny as well!

The food was GOOD, the beer was COLD and the music was GREAT! It is a honky-tonk and it is FUN! Nothing fancy... but a GREAT honky-tonk dive bar. Stop in and enjoy life!

One of the bars we enjoyed the most, such a refreshing change from The Wildhorse Saloon. We were made to feel welcome and the traditional country music was excellent. We were lucky to catch Pappy Merritts who is still going strong at 88 years old. What a character and fiddle player.

This was the first bar we headed to when we hit Broadway during our stay in Nashville - recommended many times by locals and guides. We were not disappointed! The music was top notch quality - The Don Kelley Band were playing first, whose tight set and showmanship I fell totally in love with, especially when the bass player started... More

My guide was a professional musician. He said- if you play guitar, go to Robert's WW. The standard was way beyond good- it was the best I've ever heard live (and I've heard Jeff Beck, Clapton, BB King and Albert Lee live. Go there.

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to listen to the band and grab some bar food. The band that played from 12-3 played tight sets and the lead singer, Rebecca, really nailed the traditional country sound of Loretta and Dolly. The food was basic but hit the spot and $2.50 PBRs could not be beat. Brendan, our server, was... More

Homophobic owner announced that girl on girl dancing was allowed and encouraged, but not boy on boy Dave Tanner, a regular guitarist and vocalist there, has also written a homophobic song about Tootsie's, which he calls a gay bar. This is Southern discrimination at its best. Stay away and don't support. It's a shame because the music was amazing until... More
