Standing as the centerpiece in Nashville's Centennial Park, the Parthenon is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Come inside to see the 42-foot gilded sculpture of Athena, the permanent display of American paintings from the Cowan Collection, the history of the Nashville Parthenon dating back to the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition, and a variety of temporary shows and exhibitions! The entrance is located on the ground level of the East side of the building.

This was worth the $6 to get in. Includes some history of the Centennial Park where this Parthenon is located.

well preserved and interesting historical site to visit! the gift shop is in need of a overhaul - poor selection of gift choices for patrons.

There is just something special about this location. Feels like the old South, feels like Greek history and feels like city life. We take all Nashville visitors here.

Nothing too special but if you have the time and are checking out the area...worth a look see. We were driven there during a historical tour. Never would have known it existed if not for the tour.

I have visited the actual Parthenon in Athens Greece and this replica in Nashville beats it. Anyone who visits is left with their jaw on the floor. You have to visit to understand!

Wonderful reproduction of the original Parthenon. Inside you have a spectacular statue of Athena. The Elgin marbles come to life.

This killed A few hours one afternoon. It has art displays who h we could not work out the connections or themes. It is not high fun but the kids were quite happy going around looking at the displays.

This is a very cool and unique place for a short visit. It is located in a beautiful park and its very cool to see what the Parthenon once looked like.

This is beautiful and built to scale so it is the same size as the real one. It is really nice. One has to pay attention to where to get into the exhibit, but other than that, I recommend this to anyone that loves history....More

I visited the Parthenon in 1960 while in Nurses training at Madison College. It is very educational as it is a copy of the real Parthenon. I have been back several times since. If you are interested in history, you will want to visit.
