Standing as the centerpiece in Nashville's Centennial Park, the Parthenon is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Come inside to see the 42-foot gilded sculpture of Athena, the permanent display of American paintings from the Cowan Collection, the history of the Nashville Parthenon dating back to the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition, and a variety of temporary shows and exhibitions! The entrance is located on the ground level of the East side of the building.

A must stop attraction in Nashville. In addition to the building it houses an art collection of paintings plus sculptures used to build the parthenon.

It was good to see how big this actually is. We got out and walked up to it and around it. We were disappointed we did not go in

I lived in Nashville for two years and lived this park. My first trip back since 1987 and Centennial Park and The Parthenon are still beautiful. It was very busy today, but I'm glad wed went. $4 to enter the Parthenon, but very well worth...More

Walked in thinking how cool it would be to see a lot of Greek artifacts in such an impressive building. Walk it and lower level is a modern art gallery. Painting and pictures were ok by I came to see Greek items not a picture...More

Well maintained grounds and as visited in June all green and flowers in bloom. Parking was free and nearby entrance. Adult price $6 to enter. Lots of art work and was air conditioned. As visiting nice to see once but will see other sites next...More

We weren't sure what to expect when we showed up, and kind of thought it'd be overrated. But the exterior structure is gorgeous, and the inside floored us. The admission fee was well worth the money. Go in. Trust us.

Amazing replica of the Parthenon with beautiful sculptures and art. Very educational and a good thing to do on a rainy day.

Having visited the real Parthenon in Greece it was intriguing to see this version with it's full size Athena statue to the scale she would have been in the original. Worth a visit when in Nashville.

This was one of the highlights of our trip - amazingly awesome. Note it was $6 for an adult to get in - thought it was free. Well worth it in the end... spend some time reading the history - a lot there!

Have to admit I went more for my wife's benefit, but the museum provides an interesting history of the park before you get to the art works and the statue of Athena as well as the other ancient works. The architecture of the building itself...More
