Well maintained grounds and as visited in June all green and flowers in bloom. Parking was free and nearby entrance. Adult price $6 to enter. Lots of art work and was air conditioned. As visiting nice to see once but will see other sites next...More
We weren't sure what to expect when we showed up, and kind of thought it'd be overrated. But the exterior structure is gorgeous, and the inside floored us. The admission fee was well worth the money. Go in. Trust us.
Amazing replica of the Parthenon with beautiful sculptures and art. Very educational and a good thing to do on a rainy day.
Having visited the real Parthenon in Greece it was intriguing to see this version with it's full size Athena statue to the scale she would have been in the original. Worth a visit when in Nashville.
This was one of the highlights of our trip - amazingly awesome. Note it was $6 for an adult to get in - thought it was free. Well worth it in the end... spend some time reading the history - a lot there!
Have to admit I went more for my wife's benefit, but the museum provides an interesting history of the park before you get to the art works and the statue of Athena as well as the other ancient works. The architecture of the building itself...More
