Our trip was pretty basic and, frankly, we're not all that interested in a lot of what the museum shows. So my rating is more based on the potential of the place.
We happened to go when the Martina McBride exhibit was on. Being from Kansas, that was cool to see.
They have a lot of neat artifacts if you're into that kind of thing. I enjoyed seeing some of the Taylor Swift stuff and some of the more historical items (like maybe the guitar used in Garth's "The Dance" video). Obviously country music is steeped in history and tradition but, lol, we don't have much interest in that so quick browsed a lot of it.
All in all, we were dealing with high heat and my mom who can't take the heat. So the museum was a nice stop to see some things and spend a couple hours (based on our parking) inside a nice, ACed facility. I have no doubt if you're a die-hard country person, enjoy seeing the outfits, and try some of the other experiences, this is a must stop. It has some places to eat and a nice but expensive gift stop, so it really is a one-stop shop if you want it to be. We paid about $30 for basic admission and that seems okay. Everyone we encountered was nice, and I have a feeling if you shell out for some of the experiences it would be a great stop.

So many great displays and a lot of information. Just loved the the short film on the different musicians. So much to see and hear. The costumes displayed brought back so many memories from my youth. Don't miss it.

Had an awesome trip through the museum and the tour of the studio B was the best. Ron was a great tour guide. He was very passionate about his love for music and history and sharing with the tour group.

We made reservations the night before and presented our tickets for the 10 time spot and was ushered in with little wait. When we left the place was packed with a line out the door.
The museum is full of interesting things from the early days till now. Would have liked to have seen more Dolly and Carrie Underwood.

We thoroughly enjoyed all 3 parts of today’s experience. We chose the self guided audio tour for the Hall of Fame. The Hatch Show Print Tour was neat. I didn’t know anything about it & now I do! The Studio B tour was my favorite. Ron was an excellent tour guide & it was neat to stand where famous artists once stood.

Was a wonderful display. Only thing I did not like was I did not get to see the bottom floor. They told us closing in 10 minutes! What the heck.

Truly enjoyed the country music hall of fame. The audio tour is so worth the extra as there is so much more history then what you think. Very cool experience

My wife and I attended the Colbie Callait concert in the CMA Auditorium for our first time visit. This is an incredible venue to see a show...very intimate and loved how the audience was engaged in the show with the performers. We'll definitely be looking for additional events to attend in this facility. The acoustics were great, seating was comfortable. We were in the orchestra section (on the main floor) and could not have asked for a better seat. With the exception of a single fan that was 'over-engaging and distracting' to the audience and Ms. Callait, it was a perfect event.

Do we need to make reservations before we go or can you just walk up and pay same day admission?? I know a lot has changed since Covid. Are they limiting visitors per day?

We purchased in advance to make it easier to plan our days. However, if you wish, you can stand in line to purchase on site. Just make sure you have enough time to go through the entire museum.

I'm been to the country music hall of fame, this summer I'm visiting Nashville with my 2 teenagers, they wont be interested in the museum but they would enjoy the RCA portion. What I can gather I have to buy the museum tickets and not just the RCA. Is this correct?

Hi does anybody know if the Bluebird cafe is wheelchair accessible? I don’t want to buy tickets on line, and not be able to get in. Thanks Denise

Strongly suggest you call them. It is a small, tightly packed venue and it would not surprise me if navigating a wheelchair would be difficult. but since accommodations are often made, strongly suggest calling them.

I use a small battery scooter. I definitely need to use it to visit the country music hall of fame. I hope this is possible. I am spending 3 days in Nashville, and would love to visit the sights as best I can. Can I use my scooter? Thanks Denise

How much time should we allow to make sure we see everything? We do not want to rush thru it, but need to plan our days out.
