This is a nice reserve for some walking or a picnic, not far from Woodend. We did the walk up to the summit, which was well worth doing to see the interesting rock formations. We also did the base walk, which was not so interesting,...More

It’s a nice cat. 3 walk, with the choice of taking stairs carved out of the hill side or walking up an asphalt ramp. The second leg of the walk to the top is partly over rocks, and can be a bit tricky for some....More

A beautiful trek with many rocks for climbing & exploring. Caution when walking as some of the rocks are smooth so easy to loose your foothold. Keep a close eye on children as there are steep drop offs if you wander off the track. Bring...More

Great way to spend a few hours exploring this mysterious Australian example of nature. The hike to the summit is quite strenuous but worth the climb, only for those physically able. The base walk is quite easy, both are about 2kms. Beautiful grounds for picnics,...More

hi Sharon. the only practical alternative is to hire a care and drive yourself for the 1/2 day. Its only about an hour drive, easy to get to, but there no real public transport options.
