A typical country style course with better than expected putting greens. A basic canteen with appropriate food and a small bar. Run predominantly by volunteers. There are a few very attarctive holes. Overall extremely friendly club members assisted us in their Thursday competition. The grounds staff hav done a sensational job. Worth a go if you're in the area or... More

Yes it was wet under foot because of the heavy August rains. But it was so green and the buds were emerging on trees and shrubs. Our golf scores weren't great but it was a thoroughly enjoyable walk - very special - very welcoming!

Although we have played course before as green fee players, visited today to play competition with my wife after telephoning prior. Would be the most unwelcoming club I have ever been to. Seems the club wants your money as green fee players but does not want outsid ers isin their competition. Wasted our time travelling from Ballarat.

Had a great afternoon. Everyone we met was friendly. The girls in the kitchen were delightful and cooked us a very cheap and cheerful lunch. Enjoyed the course and walk through town. A lovely afternoon and a great course to enjoy. Very interesting combination of native and old English trees and shrubs. Course was in great condition and though we... More

Played the golf course last week with three friends for the first time. Wow. The course, even though it's not long in length, was up to the challenge. Tight fairways, slick greens and a beautifully manicured course awaited us. Can't wait to return.

I have really enjoyed playing at Trentham. It is a lovely tree-lined course that requires an above average thinking when selecting clubs. It's not a course where you automatically take the driver at the tee. The greens are superbly kept and quite tricky with significant break. At $25 for 18 holes, this is a must play course.

It's green, flat, interesting and has lots of shade for the hot days. The layout is very good, every level of player will find it interesting. Good practice facilities and a nice clubhouse round off the trip.

Loved a hit around here with my mate - very well manicured, soft greens and very easy to walk. I also managed a 44 from nine holes so have to give this course 5 stars!
