We enjoyed the gardens but thought that some of the gardens run by Parks Victoria were better and were free. Staff in gardens and shop very nice but would not go back to seasons restaurant

On the recommendation of a friend we visited Cloudehill. Lovely manicured gardens with some unique flowers not seen anywhere else in Victoria - interesting art work. The shop and nursery have a nice selection of plants and seeds to choose from. We left with some...More

Amazing garden set in a traditional English style, the Australian way. Fabulous beech trees, lots of red maples, rhodedendrons and art works. Not suitable for disabled as on gravel and a slope.

Maybe it was the time of year we visited but we weren't impressed with this garden. Being the beginning of spring there were daffodils and grape hyacinths blooming but that was about all apart from some rhododendrons. The rest of the graden lacked vegetation and...More

A delightful experience even in winter. The gardens are set out in 'rooms' which you reach rambling by winding paths and rustic steps. Despite not being at their 'best' there is much to capture in photos; the first crocus buds, meadows of hardy daffodils, magnificent...More

Took Mum for breakfast which was really good. Especially impressed that tea cups were exactly that, thin and elegant. Service was great too!

We went in March, a really busy time, just out of summer, showing wilting from heat and weeds coming through. Too hot to work with so many visitors browsing. Top areas were well maintained and one can get lost with so many paths and levels....More

Beautiful gardens with lots of variety from highly manicured to more natural and wild. A good walk too if you want down the steep hillside and back up again. Plus a fair bit of sculptural art in the gardens for the art lover.

I am not sure ... although, I doubt it! I certainly have never seen people bring their dogs to this restaurant/café.

I live at the foot of the mountain and cannot think of a caravan park that would suit, although many B&Bs in close proximity at various prices. Mt Dandenong is best suited to day tripping and Cloudehill is great for lunch... More
