Visiting the Museum is a great way to learn about Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War. The Museum is very well presented, in fact it is the best I have seen on the Vietnam War. The staff are very helpful and the displays are excellent. You can easily spend around 2 hours just wandering around and viewing all the displays.

I've visited many military museums and battlefields around Europe and new very little about Vietnam other what I can remember form that time. This display is more than a collection of artefacts and military hardware, there are many explanations on a personal basis of specific events of the war. This helps the visitor to understand better how those involved must... More

Thank you for your great comments. The National Vietnam Veterans Museum is the only museum in Australia solely dedicated in presenting the history of the Vietnam War and those who served there. The museum looks to provide an insight to this period of Australian history. Thank you for visiting the Museum. More

We spent a couple of hours here wandering around and looking at all the displays. Since it only concerned the Vietnam War, it was of great interest to my veteran husband, and had lots of memorabilia that he could relate to. We would love to go back and look at it again, as there is so much to absorb.

The Phillip Island based National Vietnam Veterans Museum is well endowed with memorabilia, photos, aircraft and vehicles from the early 1970s. The holographic display system is a great way to present the history of the period. Very friendly and helpful staff.

My husband went to see this museum and said it was great. Planes, tanks and others on display inside which he loved. Lots of interesting info for him as this is something he is very interested in. Excellent customer service. He would have enjoyed staying longer but we had other plans.
