Fun but challenging

Our group play Windtree almost every week. It is a course that has a lot of forgiving holes but there are a few that will make you pay for your mistakes. I really enjoy the course... read more

This is a nice course unfortunately this course will be closing due to a new housing development. Greens are always kept nice and its usually not packed.

Very well kept public course with a good mix of rolling fairways, doglegs around trees and lakes and long flat holes.

Our group play Windtree almost every week. It is a course that has a lot of forgiving holes but there are a few that will make you pay for your mistakes. I really enjoy the course and could give you hole by hole instructions but that will take too long so let me describe a few holes that I think... More

Nice course..its a little bit of a drive to get to but its nice. 18 holes of good golf. Soon to be torn down and converted to houses. Service was non existent on the course and I didnt see a single cart come around offering drinks or anything. Course was well maintained but a little pricey at 40/round.

Windtree is a great course, unfortunately, it has been sold and will be the new home for 410 houses. I think this summer will be the end of Windtree as we know it.

Attended a family golf outing. There were eight of us playing Windtree. They were having 2 big golf outing that day. Most of the course was in good condition. The greens could use some work, but that was caused by the number of players using the course. There is some water and some sand on the course, but not in... More

This was the first time I played this course and the greens are really good. The fairways were alittle rough but it's still April so it's understandable. The course layout was really nice with course demanding accuracy off the tee. I think my biggest issue was the price. Paid $58 which was green fees and a small bucket of range... More

For the same amount of money I played Forrest crossing and pine creek which were 1000x better. They watered several of the greens during our round and we had to wait to tee off... On a Sunday! Fairways were in bad shape and new sod was already dying. Very poor maintenance and a true dog track.

I played Windtree several weeks ago while vacationing in Nashville. Nice layout but the course conditions were poor; too many fairways were "burnt up". The rest of the curse suffered from a lack of watering. The only good thing was the greens were OK. Paid $28 bucks so I guess I got what I paid for.

Thank Steven T
