This is a beautiful garden and playground dotted with rotundas, picnic tables, bbqs etc. The river runs through one side of it, offering safe paddling for all ages. The playground is full of interesting activities including a buried set of dinosaur bones in the sandpit, flying fox, swings, slides, etc. There is also the lake, home to ducks and their babies.... Very nice park in Marysville. As one would expect up in the hills the trees and birds are delightful. Marysville gets extremely busy on weekends and has more than its fair share of motor cycles visiting making the trip up and back somewhat tedious.

With the rhododendrons, waratahs and azaleas in full bloom the park was looking magnificent. This Park is beautifully maintained. The New Life sculpture by Bruno is so wonderful and captures the spirit of place and the resilience of the people of Marysville. The 1000 hands project adds further to this experience. A great playground for children, a lovely lake and... More

Apart from being a clean and well maintained park with excellent play facilties , bar b que areas and ample parking , the lake is stocked with pan sized rainbow trout before each and every school holidays for the children to catch.... unlike the local rivers where locals encourage a catch and release policy, this is a put and take... This is a nice park, not too big, it has a small lake and a walking track around it. It provides an access to a walking track of about 4 km to reach Steavenson falls instead of going by car and parking at the car park.

A nice park with all the standard kid activities plus a couple more, (flying fox and skate park), small lake area with a path around it makes it a nice place to stretch the legs and grab some beautiful fresh mountain air.

Take your children, take your book and a picnic and let the children go in this park. Just out the back of the information centre there are lots of interactive activities for the children that will keep them happy for hours. Plenty of time to burn off the energy from the lollyshop sugar rush and time for you to read... More
