We were on a mission to find somewhere to enjoy the warm sun and found our road trip brought us to the lake. It's a lovely spot to picnic and there are even paddle boats to have fun on and you can catch the puffing billy or just wave to the passengers, both are fun. The grounds are beautiful with... More

Stopped for a picnic on our fabulous puffing billy trip. Nice playgrounds and kids enjoyed the water bikes. Reasonable shop with drinks and ice creams and some take away options too. Really enjoyed the miniature railway.

Went to this park (visiting for Pugging Billy) and was blown away by what a beautiful area this is. There is a gorgeous lake at the entrance with Aqua paddle bikes you can hire (not sure about the prices). Loads of gorgeous walking tracks, a miniature model railway and beautiful picnic spots. There is toilets and a cafe at the... More

Not many stunning places around with terrific facilities that you can visit for a small car parking fee. Thus is one of the few. An absolutely beautiful environment, with gorgeous walking trails.

Emerald Lake and it's surrounding park is one of my favourite places. We will quite often visit here on a weekend drive and just relax in all of nature's beauty. It is so joyful to watch families of different ages enjoying the many facilities including BBQs, covered picnic areas, play and exercise equipment, swimming in the public pool in summer,... More

Love the area in all seasons. The walks are beautiful when you get away from the lake also. Try walking towards Emerald on the Fern gully track and have your breath taken away by the magnificent fern trees. Take the track to Cockatoo and the flora is stunning in its own right. If you are lucky like i have been... More

This place is beautiful and I love walking around it but what on earth are those spikes at the entrance there for? Not a fan.

Walked past this park while trying to look for the bus stop back to Puffing Billy Belgrave. Most people pack their lunches and spend time here waiting for the return train ride.

Emerald Lake park is a MUST in Autumn when the leaves of many trees start to turn in glorious Autumn colour. There are also beautiful toadstools and other fungi of all kinds. The walking paths have improved greatly over time and walking should be very easy for people of all ages. The lake also provides some Watersport fun for the... More
