We are sooo lucky to have The Cameo Cinemas in the Dandenong Ranges, no struggling with crowds, or traffic to watch a movie. With the member card it makes it cost effective to see a movie & have a snack and drink, cheap Tuesday's is great. There is also the outdoor cinema in Summer. There are fabulous boutique beers, soft... More

Had a lovely day out in Belgrave with a dear friend and saw a film at the Cameo. What a score when we found out it was cheap Tuesday and tickets were only $7 ! Lovely cinema with excellent seats especially if you have long legs. Nice coffee and pleasant service.

Sure you can go to the large cinemas and have the booming sound system but there is nothing like the Cameo Belgrave. Whilst small cinema rooms, this is a fabulous place for a date night or movie night with friends. The mulled wine in winter and other beers and wines, hot coffee, ginger beer to take into any movie is... More

I have been to the Cameo many times over 8 years. This cinema has 7 indoor theatres with very comfortable seats and pleasant decor.. Prices are reasonable and there's always a range of movies, including new releases shown on any day, and always 'on time'. A wide variety of choc-top ice creams and other food is available. Parking nearby adds to... More

So taking my kids to the cinema has to rate somewhere in the circles of hell for me. But with the Cameo, it wasn't a chore. The entryway is honest. Snack bar, coffee, tickets. Unfortunately the only downside to kids movies is the no alcohol rule. Usually we enjoy a glass or 2 of something yummy - the sangria in... More

Visited on a rainy day and kids enjoyed a couple of hours at the movies. Had a reasonable coffee and we had already bought treats (tip: big Woolworths directly across the road) but actually they seemed to have a nice selection.

A lovely change to the big shopping centre theatres! The best bit....you can drink beer while you enjoy your movie. Allocated seating would be better for busy periods to avoid the weirdness of choosing a seat right next to someone which causes people to unnecessarily sit close to the front. Toilets too far away from some of the cinemas but... More

Great cinema with classic charm. Much cheaper than the big chains and a much nicer environment. Outdoor cinema over summer is lots of fun - occasionally get distracted watching possums in the trees near the screen.

This is a great movie venue. It looks small form the outside but it has a number of cinemas inside, include an outdoor cinema in summer. Always a good selection of movies and their choc-top ice creams are fantastic!
